What The Music Blog Listen To!

After a weekend of crappy weather here on the East Coast, the crew at Blog Fresh Towers were slightly jealous of the folks basking in California sunshine at Coachella this past weekend. Who needs My Bloody Valentine when you've got Prince covering Radiohead?

That said, we're happy we didn't have to fly back redeye-style last night and grapple with jetlag today, because we had a show to finish. And it's a good one. We even touche on some "hot button" issues! Specifically, Matthew from the great Scot blog Song by Toad talks about what happens when 'The Man' comes knocking to tell you to remove an mp3 from your site. You might be surprised by his response.

We also have our first-ever Norwegian blog on the show this week, Knut from Eardrums. Heck, we feature enough Scandinavian music on this show, so now we have an authority who is even closer to the action. (Hmmm, now if we can just get Denmark on board!)

Also on the show: Colin Cubik talks reggae mash-ups from France, and Quick Before it Melts looks into current Manchester sensations, The Courteneers. We've also got old Manchester sensations, The Fall, with something from their new album, and the most-blogged-about band of the week, My Morning Jacket.
