We Let The Music Blogs DJ!

Don't know if it's cold where you are, but here in New York the last weeks of winter are certainly getting to us. We are ready for sunshine and warm temps. Luckily, next week most of the Blog Fresh staff will be in Austin, Texas, for the South by Southwest Music Festival ("SxSW"). Chances are, if you're a regular reader of music blogs (or even just a music fan) you've heard of this annual event. Some say it's a Big Deal. Frankly, we can't wait to be down there, overloading on music and barbecue, basking in the dry Texas sun.

If you're going, keep an eye out for us and please say hi! Places where you're likely to find us: The Above the Radar party on March 13, and various After the Jump festivities on the 14th and 15th. We're helping out with both events, which are curated by a bunch of bloggers from the Blog Fresh Posse and feature a superb roster of bands, most of whom you've probably heard on previous episodes of the show. Check out the cool flyers on the left side of the site.

We talk a little bit about SxSW on this week's show. Austin blog Covert Curiosity tells us about local duo Transmography (who play the Above the Radar party), and Sit Down Stand Up fills us in on (After the Jump party performers) Cloud Cult.
