This Is What The Music Blogs Are Listening To!!

We know some of you out there have Super Bowl Fever. But at Blog Fresh Towers, we've got Hot Chip Fever. They're playing in town the day before Superbowl XLII and our entire staff is going. As are most of the NYC blog elite. The band are always great live, their new album, Made in the Dark, is awesome, and this whole week will be a countdown to that. And then the next day we'll eat guacamole and chips, drink beer, cheer for the Giants (except for the one Patriots fan) and hope that there will be a TV ad for the new Indiana Jones movie.

It's a Superbowl-caliber show this week, too! We have five excellent music blogs telling us what's new and cool in their worlds. Plus, we play at least two songs by bands who have the word "teenagers" in their name--how often does that happen? Plus two UK bloggers talking about North American hip-hop (go figure). Although, one of them, Cubik Musik, actually lives in Austin, TX. As does Covert Curiosity, who's on the show talking about his hometown's hottest band, Ghostland Observatory. Then, we check in with It's Hard to Find a Friend who tells us about the new Say Hi CD.

Oh, and of course The Blog Fresh Chart! We count down the 10 most blogged-about bands of the week, just to keep you in the loop. And hey, guess who's at #1 this week (we don't bring up what shows we're going to see just to brag--it all comes full circle)? So grab some guac n' chips and have a listen. Don't worry, Randy and Paula won't be performing at our half-time.
