IT'S WHAT THE MUSIC BLOGS LISTEN TO!

Happy Holidays, everybody! Hope you're all relaxing in the glow of a warm fire, sorting through all the gifts from loved ones, figuring out which ones you're going to return. Did you get a Wii this year? Neither did we. Thanks for nothing, Santa! But this time of year is not really about gifts, it's about lists. You know, the kind music bloggers make -- weighing in on the past 12 months of music, cobbling together Best Of lists for albums, singles, live shows, local bands, and so forth.

So we took the opportunity to talk to as many of our Blog Fresh Posse as we could about 2007: The Year That Was. We've got a record 12 bloggers on this extended show, talking about their lists, their blogs, the music they loved, and the music they didn't. Surprisingly, no one talked about blog staples like The Arcade Fire, Les Savvy Fav or Battles. Then again, no one talked about that "Chocolate Rain" guy either, so maybe it all worked out in the end.

Hopefully you'll discover something new and awesome on our 2007 Year End Fantabular, which is really what music blogs -- and our show -- are all about. As this is an extra-long edition of Blog Fresh, we're going to keep this one up for a bit longer, and then we'll follow it up with a downloadable Year-End Mix with songs picked by the Blog Fresh Posse.
